If your a licensed Amateur Radio enthusiast looking to get out on day trips in an active environment to do some hiking, biking or mobile field activations, then this is the group for you.  Basically, We are about "Getting away from the shack"!  Even if you are not licensed, but are interested in helping, learning, or just want to come along, please feel free. We are a friendly group that is always willing to help.

We're HOSARC, Hall Of Science Amateur Radio Club, a Queens, an amateur radio club based out of the NY Hall of Science in Queens, NY.  Checkout www.hosarc.org , you're invited to check us out there for more information regarding our repeaters and activities. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the NY Hall of Science in Queens, just a few blocks from the 7 train.  We regularly engage in portable operations and activities using amateur radio equipment.
